What’s up everybody this is Ron P from wiseguy bets and one of the main questions I get is how to build a sports betting bankroll in 2021 for sports betting and DFS.
My main way to build a bankroll is to do it just like any other investment account, just like a 401k. What I do is put money into my sports betting accounts on a bi-weekly basis. If you get paid bi-weekly, two times a month or you get paid once a week every time you get paid money is going into your 401k, so I’m replicating that with my sports betting accounts. I’m constantly putting money in my sports betting accounts, so if I’m having a bad week or having a bad month my accounts will not go dry because I’m constantly putting into them.
If you’re betting on sports or playing DFS. I’m going to assume you are an above average sports bettor or above average dfs player because you have to treat this very seriously we’re not just giving our money away, so you have to have your skills set up enough where you can win at sports betting and you can win at dfs. If you’re not willing to be above average sports better or above average dfs player, you don’t need to waste your time on Sports Betting or DFS because you will loose more than you win.
I’m going to use DFS as an example if you put a hundred dollars a week into your dfs account that is going to be roughly five thousand dollars a year. If you’re an above average dfs player you put 5000 in you may have won a thousand or you may have won 2 000 throughout the year, so you’re up. Just think about this if you do that over three years you’re gonna have fifteen thousand dollars in your sports betting accounts that you have put in you, not counting what you have won and for dfs what that does is give you a chance to take a stab at bigger tournaments and you can pick them out the single entry $530 tournaments or the single injury thousand dollar tournaments. You can take a chance every so often on those contests if you are an above average player because the only difference between those players is they have the bankroll. The players who win have the bankroll so that’s the only difference/ You have to put in the time to make yourself a above average player so you can take some chances at those types tournaments
I’m gonna use sports betting for example if you had a substantial sports betting bankroll for the NCAA championship this year, Gonzaga was favored by four points in the championship game. I almost fell out of my seat when I saw Gonzaga was a big favorite, unless someone gets injured on Baylor, there is no way they cover that spread. My sports betting recommendation is 1 or 2 percent of your bankroll but for that game even I went outside of my recommendation and bet 10% of my bankroll where I could get that bet. Whatever schedule you come up with, you must put money in your accounts constantly. You will see it grow and it will give you opportunities to take chances. The best way to create a sports betting bankroll is to constantly put money into your accounts.
