The Buffalo Bills will try to put aside the bad memories from their last trip to Arizona. The San Francisco 49ers have temporarily relocated to Arizona for three weeks after strict new COVID-19 protocols in their home county.
Night-time hasn’t been the right time for Buffalo. The Bills are 6-23 in prime-time games since 2000, and have lost nine straight on Monday night since 1999. The Niners’ offensive got a huge boost last week when Deebo Samuel returned after missing 3 games with a hamstring Injury

BUFFALO BILLS vs SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (Monday December, 7)
When: Monday, December 7, 2020, 8:15pm ET
Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale
JAZZ Sports Odds: 49ers -1 / Total 47*
Why the Bills Will Win
The Bills won last week 27-17 against the Chargers. It wasn’t Josh Allen’s best statistical day with just 157 yards passing, but the run game showed up and the defense got key stops when needed. For Buffalo, Josh Allen has put up nice numbers this season (3,208 yards, 22TDs, 8 INTs), but he has 3 interceptions in the last 2 games. The 49ers have the fourth-ranked passing defense, so Allen may need to use his legs a bit more.
Why the 49ers Will Win
Nick Mullens will make his 6th start of the season for San Francisco. In seven games he is completing 68 percent to his attempts but has more interceptions (seven) than touchdowns. Last week in a victory over the LA Rams he was 24-of-35 for 252 yards with no touchdowns and a pick. Teams have had success throwing the on Buffalo (243.5 ypg, 18th in the NFL), so there should be be some opportunities available.
The Final Word
I think this will be a good game to watch. This isn’t your same old Buffalo team, they are real and will be tough in the playoffs. San Francisco is currently favored -1. The line earlier in the week had Buffalo favored -2.5. San Francisco is 0-3 as a home favorite. Buffalo is 1-0 as a away dog.
Prediction: Bills 21, 49ers 17
