In sports betting each bettor should have a Minimum Win Size. My Minimum Win Size is 1% of my bankroll. For example if I have a bankroll of $1000 dollars. I will not make a bet that isn’t going to win me at least $10 dollars. Your Minimum Win Size can be anything. My average Minimum Win Size is about 3% of my bankroll, depending on the edge. I will bet anything from 1% – 15% of my bankroll on a sporting event. The point is to establish Minimum Win Size. It may be a percentage of your bankroll or a specific dollar amount. Whatever you decide, be sure to track every bet.
1-0 yesterday with Tennessee covering the 17 point spread vs Kentucky.
Never usually bet the NBA but I couldn't pass on Bos+1/Utah. Boston is sitting in Utah waiting on them. Utah played last night in Washington DC. Long trip back home plus Boston is a very good team.
Tommorow is SEC basketball.
Went 2-0 yesterday in College Basketball with Auburn and Alabama winning on the road.
Today I like Tennessee +17/Kentucky. I think the spread is just to big for a decent Tennessee team coming off a horrible road loss against Missouri. Kentucky should win easly, but not by 17.
Three games tonight in the NBA. Not a big selection to choose from in DFS, but what we got is good. Pick your lineups carefully.
Recap from 11/6/15: 2-0. Both bets were moneyline bets. I couldn't figure out why Miami was favored on the road after having a game the night before. Indiana is good motivated team with a Superstar playing on national television. The Bucks over the Knicks was easy call. The Knicks are one of the worst teams in the NBA. Sports Betting Picks Recap of Thursday 11/05/15
Sports Betting Picks: 2 -0
For today Friday 11/06/15
Possible plays for tonight are Milwaukee +2 and Indiana +1. I feel both teams can straight up win the games. I especially like Indiana sitting in home waiting for Maimi coming off a tough victory over Minnesotta on Thursday.
These are not picks, but it's what I'm looking at for today. [Read more…] about Sports Betting Picks for Friday 11/06/15
If you tackle sports betting like I do, you probably have a Minimum Win Size for every bet you make. There is no math involved, you just know how much money you want to make on each bet you place. There is paperwork required. Every bet should be tracked no matter the size. A sports bettor should know where he is at all times with his bankroll. Some people think differently, but I track everything.
For the purpose of discussion, say my Minimum Win Size is $10. For a me to make 10 off odds of -110. I have to bet $11. For me to make 10 off of odds of +120. I have to bet $8. Not sure what your Minimum Win Size is but in my opinion every sports bettor should have one. [Read more…] about Determining Minimum Win Size in Sports Betting
